Yael Admoni’s Bedtime Stories
by Joy Bernard | 24.04.16Telavivian designer Yael Admoni launched her fashion brand in 2007. At first, her airy and beautiful pieces could only be bought at some of Tel Aviv’s finest boutiques (including Razili, Gusta and Boutique 5). Two years ago, Admoni opened her own store where her nonchalantly cool items are on display.
To welcome in the summer, Admoni released her newest collection: Bedtime Stories, S16.
“I drew inspiration for the collection from a photography book that focuses on lingerie and on the different interpretations contemporary designers have for nightwear, from the 1930s to present day,” she explains.
Everyone’s all-time favorite little black receives in this collection a romantic upgrade with its lace-like, laminated fabric. A shorts and t-shirt outfit in deep, smokey hues is charmingly reminiscent of a pyjama. Other items reference nightgowns and ropes and come in a variety of patterns and eye-catching colors such as mint, yellow, coral, light blue and pink.
